It's tough for the Australian squad to break new ground.

The top summits have long been mastered.

We're talking about the team that has claimed seven Cricket World Cups, plus six more T20 titles, and previously enjoyed over three years unbeaten in 50-over cricket.

The alternative records, targeted by the record chasers, are what's still available for a team that has accomplished all there is.

She achieved fifty in 35 balls - her fastest at the World Cup - and her hundred in 84 deliveries while she punished short deliveries, scoring 21 fours and three big hits.

Once she was dismissed the team needed 66 additional runs at one run per ball - an unconquered height now demanding an easy conclusion.

"Chasing 330 runs is unfamiliar ground so I am glad we have the assurance to achieve that now," stated Healy further.

"Preferably we shouldn't have to do it another time but, should it happen, we believe we can achieve it."

That comment will be the last Australia's opponents at this tournament should hear.

Over the past five days a belief they will triumph from any situation has grown stronger - this triumph following victory over Pakistan by 107 runs despite being 76-7 at one stage.

Subsequently Australia meet Bangladesh before a match against longtime competitors England in Indore in a week and a half, by which point a last-four spot may probably be guaranteed.

During that phase they left the prior year's T20 World Cup in a shock defeat by South Africa - an encounter Healy missed because of ruptured tissue in her foot as she led her country for the inaugural occasion at an important competition.

So great is her will, she later said she regretted not playing with the discomfort.

Yet even as she later admitted those fitness problems have delayed thoughts of retirement, this championship is expected to be her concluding event as leader in one-day cricket and she is hasn't yet secured a global event as skipper.
