Much like bad weather tore through the north-west the night before, Manchester City overwhelmed the visitors aside at the their home ground. It was a emphatic three goal triumph for their manager's side due to goals from Rebecca Knaak, Bunny Shaw and Lauren Hemp. It was a display that firmly established their title credentials as they strengthened their place at the top of the table.

Successive Setbacks for Manchester United
